The cost of treatment
Understandably, cost is often one of the first things people ask about when their dentist mentions they’ll need to see a specialist. While it is difficult (and misleading) to provide you with a cost before we have evaluated your individual treatment needs, we encourage our patients to approach dental health care with the same set of standards you would for all of your health care needs: to select a qualified physician you believe in, and one with a reputation for excellence. Cost is never an indicator of treatment success. The goal of our practice is to deliver treatment that is successful and meets your long-term oral health goals, at a level of service that exceeds your expectations.
We work with all Dental PPO insurance plans and the amount covered by each plan varies. We are In-Network with Delta Dental and over 30 other insurance carriers. We will check your benefits prior to your consultation appointment so that any financial information discussed will take your individual benefits into account. It is important to remember that, like cost, insurance coverage is not a predictor of treatment success.
Our new patient consultation is comprehensive and we do charge for these appointments. During your first visit with us, our doctors will spend one-on-one time with you in order to determine the best treatment plan for your individual needs. Afterward, you will meet with our treatment coordinator to discuss the fees associated with your proposed treatment and schedule future appointments.
Our Practice policy is that payment be rendered in full prior to or at the time of service. Because many times treatment is broken into phases over a period of time, we are happy to make phase-based payment arrangements to accommodate our patients. We do not offer a standard monthly payment installment option; however, we regularly assist patients in applying for healthcare financing through Care Credit. If you have specific payment arrangement requirements, please bring them to the attention of our treatment coordinator during your consultation appointment.
We are happy to accept payment in a variety of formats: Cash, Personal Check, Visa, MasterCard and Care Credit.
